The School's Founder: Dale Hartley-Brown B.A., L.T.C.L.
Hi, I'm Dale, and through my school I offer a wide range of Performing Arts classes, teaching Acting, Singing and Dance skills including Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Hip Hop to children as well as adults in the Rangiora and North Canterbury area. My school presents two major Children's Theatre Musical Stage shows each year and gives my students a fun, confidence building environment in which to follow their dreams.
I feel strongly about the skill set that performing arts gives it's students, both those who wish to perfom and those who wish to gain life skills. In our new Modern Learning Environments, the ability to speak out, work well with others, and stand out from a crowd are all attributes that are increasingly valuable.
I am glad to offer a place for people to find these strengths.
We have Re-Branded!
Previously known as The Dale Hartley School of Speech & Drama, for many years we have been offering more than just Speech & Drama classes, we felt it was time to adjust our name to reflect the variety of things we do.
We still offer an excellent Speech & Drama program just like always, we are passionate about it and would hate you to think that we are changing any of that just because that part of our name has changed.
I hope you like the new colours and the new heading.
Please call or email us to discuss how we can get you or your children involved in performing arts this year. We have two fantastic shows planned for 2016 along with lots of opportunities to perform and learn. This is a great time to begin classes! The allure of Wellington was not enough to keep the lovely Bryony away from us! Yes indeed, she missed us! So after a short stay in the capital, Bryony has decided that Chrischurch is actually the best place n New Zealand to be involved in Musical Theatre. We are pleased to have her back on staff as Vocal Coach for Peter Pan and a senior tutor.
The evening was a complete success with many hilarious scenes overseen by our resident MC, Mr Ciaran Searle fand Judges Nathan Fellows, Bryony Jamison & Dale Hartley-Brown.
