Welcome to HSPA

Now is the time to invest in your child's future.

The School's Founder:  Dale Hartley-Brown B.A., L.T.C.L.

Hi, I'm Dale, and through my school I offer a wide range of Performing Arts classes, teaching Acting, Singing  and Dance skills including Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Hip Hop to children as well as  adults in the Rangiora and North Canterbury area.  My school presents two major Children's Theatre Musical Stage shows each year and gives my students a fun, confidence building environment in which to follow their dreams.
I feel strongly about the skill set that performing arts gives it's students, both those who wish to perfom and those who wish to gain life skills.  In our new Modern Learning Environments, the ability to speak out, work well with others, and stand out from a crowd are all attributes that are increasingly valuable.
I am glad to offer a place for people to find these strengths.

Our students can sit Drama, Speech & Singing exams through Trinity College, London
Our Dance students can sit Levels throught Dance NZ Made.

Elliott Andrews - Trinity College Scholarship Winner

With enthusiasm and maturity beyond his years, Elliott Andrews is making exciting progress on the stage and in the community. Recently Elliott’s achievements were recognised by Trinity College London NZ who awarded him a $500 Study Grant to assist with speech and drama tuition fees.

This is a young man who is not only talented and exciting to watch on stage, but works hard, attends all rehearsals and puts his name down for all extra opportunities and jobs that might be available.  It is nice to see his efforts recognised at a national level.

Recent involvements have included performing at the SGCNZ UoOSW Shakespeare Festival Finals in Wellington, and participating in Trinity’s Word Play 2017, which featured an acting workshop with the acclaimed Jennifer Ward-Lealand.

Elliott is one of eight recipients of Trinity College London NZ Study Grants chosen from a field of 29 top applicants.
