Come and try out our half hour preschool dance class!  It's Free!

This class makes use of props, modern and relevant music involving characters and stories.

Scholarship Winners

Well done to:

Elliott Andrews & Hannah Powell who were the shared winners of the 2017 recipient of the school’s full year ‘Brandts Giesen, McCormick Lawyers’ Major Scholarship.  Elliott has excelled well beyond the perimeters of HSPA, including winning a coveted Trinity College Scholarship in May and being select from across NZ to travel to London in July 2018 to represent Rangiora as a young performer at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, stemming from his performance in the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival.  Hannah has made incredible leaps and bounds in her acting this year as evidenced by her Distinction mark for Grade 8 Trinity College and her moving recitation at our December Recital.

Madison Tull who received the Intermediate NCM Term scholarship.  This reflects Madison’s dedication to all areas of Performing Arts.  Madison takes Drama, Singing and Dance lessons, has passed two exams this year for Trinity & DNZM and wrote and directed a production for her school.

Azaria Westeneng for winning the Junior HSPA Term scholarship.  Azaria picks up the award for her engaging stage presence and continued energy and enthusiasm in the classroom, in Drama, Singing and Dance!

Well done to those students for consistent hard work and results.  You represent all that we value at HSPA and we are proud to call you ours!
